Unfortunately at least here it no longer works with ftp.ibiblio.org? I turned on debug and can see the details of the transaction. All goes well until the RETR command. After that the server responds with 425 ..... again and again and again (please see below). I notice mozilla seems to work OK with ibiblio.org. So whatever has changed, mozilla has a work around. Perhaps the order of arguments or something about the login/password (invalid e-mail address?).
