Many mobile phone services will forward an email message as a text/pager
message to a phone. ATT and Nextel are two that I know of. Under this
scenario, you can engage a WUG email notification that points to the mobile
number.

In the ATT world, it looks like sending an email notification to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] (where xxxyyyzzzz is the mobile phone's tel #).

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Solutions with a cell phone

Does anyone have a solution for both running on NT and using a Cell Phone
for notification. Is it possible to use text messaging or something like
that since the unimodem driver doesn't work under NT. I want to have
notification by phone but don't want to run Whatsup on a w98 machine. Are
there combo cell phones/pagers? Does anyone have any ideas?
