Yes it CAN be, but the point is to avoid using SMTP, and try to use a MAPI
interface to log onto an outlook profile on the workstation to send the
mail... others do it. Eg. Compaq Insight Manager 5.0.
I've just had a bit of a thought... maybe it can be done by writing the
outage alert to a text file in a folder, and batch a file to poll the
directory for any additions, then send the text using the MapiSend.exe
tool...
hmmm could be a workaround, but it would be much nicer if Ipswitch could
come up with a plug-in (hint-hint)
