We have similar problems when monitoring the Lotus Notes service. WUP Gold (I am using 6.02) claims that the Notes service is down whenever there is a database replication. We ended up increasing the no. of unsuccessful polls before alerts are generated. This works fine but every couple of hours it loses connection claiming FTP Service is down. When this is investigated I find that the FTP Server is working fine. If you have any tips it would be greatly appreciated?
