Why not setup a custom service for monitoring using the TCP port 3389 for
RDP?

The problem with that is when the services hangs, Nt reports it as up, but
it
does not respond to the client, hence the need to monitor it at the IP level

Download the NT Services add on and monitor them as NT services.

I am trying to setup a custom TCP service to monitor Citrix ICA and
Microsoft
RDP protocols, with WhatsupGold 6.02

Does anyone know the correct settings for these services
