You need an immediate fix to stop the erroneous messages, so unregister the TTS (Text to Speech) DLL.
This can be done from the command line using Regsvr32.exe: Regsvr32.exe -u WUGTTSNotification.DLL You may also want to uninstall "Microsoft SAPI5" using the Control Panel Add/Remove feature. When you get your soundcard for the server, then you re-run the WhatsUp Gold installation in order to reinstall the TTS component (which includes SAPI5). In the meantime we will be investigating whether the ""Cannot create tts" dialog is all that it should be. It does not sound kosher that all alert processing should cease in the way described.
