This is the way that I understand the behaviour: 1) The list of maps in the Whatsup Gold web top view is always in load order.
2) When the start-up maps are configured via the web then the order in which they are entered into the field determines the load order. This load order will be preserved if one revisits this web config. 3) The GUI config Configure -> Program Options -> General will take whatever load order has been specified via the web and immediately re-order the list alphabetically by filename. This re-ordering can be seen in the GUI, and in the web config the next time you visit that. This order becomes the new load order. 4) So, as long as one never uses the GUI to configure, one has total control over the load order, and visiting the GUI and pressing OK will take whatever existing order you already have and force an alphabetical ordering. 5) Note that even then, the list in Top View might not LOOK ordered - the list displays the Map Title and not the file name. Move your mouse over each link and the URL will reveal the map filename. It seems that under rev 7, after I put them in the order I would like them, WUG shuffles them to alphabetical order. Am I doing something wrong or is this a feature?
