Seems to me that this would be just as useful in the GUI as in the Web interface. This is a known issue and will be fixed in v7.01. However, in the meantime there is an easy workaround for template users. Just edit "alertedit.asp" and change the value of maxLength to 128 for the two occurrences of "On SNMP Trap" (one for add alert and one for edit alert).
