If you spread your polling period slightly your maps will 'fall out of sync'.

Say you are currently polling every 120 seconds, you can add and subtract a few 
seconds.
For example map polling intervals of  117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 123 seconds
are all *around* two minutes but as time goes by the actual polling time of each
map will drift apart.

In 15 polls (30 minutes) each of your maps will be polling 15 seconds apart.
You will get approximate lineups about every 120 polls (120*2 minutes = 4 hours)
 however they will never line up the polls again exactly.
