Richard, I have the same problem here and it is getting very
annoying. Try searching through 40 plus maps to acknowledge an alert
that has already come back up, not to mention having to listen to that
alert while searching the maps.
It
appears to be a bug in 7.01 because this definitely was not the behavior of any
of the previous versions of WUG, even 7.0. I have been a user since
3.0

We access the What's Up program only from the web interface (it runs as a service on a Windows NT Workstation system). If a device on any of the maps goes done, for example misses 1 ping, the alert goes off every 30 seconds on the website until acknowledged. This would be fine, but if I'm away from my desk when the device goes down, if it comes backup up in the meantime (meaning it missed one and only one ping), I have to search through all the maps to find out which one has the acknowledge link.
Is there any way to have the alert acknowledge if the device comes back up? I know this wasn't the case with 7.0.
