And are all these PC's configured to use a WINS server inside your network for naming purposes? If so you can do it with WhatsUp Gold. Configure the icon for each home user as follows: Polling Method: NETBIOS Poll using: Host Name Host Name: <insert Windows Name of PC here> That should work. The only down side is when they turn their PC at home off, the host will go "down" even though their remote access is still live. If this is a problem you could accommodate this by changing the monitoring hours for that person's PC to match their normal work hours. Essentially this is just like the "dynamic DNS" solution already suggested in this thread, except instead you are using the WINS Client that comes with Windows to do the dynamic naming. The advantage of this method is that you are not only testing whether their home broadband is up, but you are also testing the VPN as well.
