Hi, people.
I've got WUG 7.03, as an application, on a 2000 server box. Just created a new map yesterday, with one device in it........a router. Configured the device for ICMP pings, monitoring on every single poll, 24/7, and polling takes place every 5 minutes. I know that the WAN link to the device is down, and thus the device is down. But in WUG, the device state is not changing colors/shapes as the polling continues and the packets are lost. HOWEVER, the device state WILL change if I a manual poll. I tried deleting the device and map and recreating them from scratch, but still get the same results. Any ideas or explanations?????? Thanks.........
