Yes, the audible alarm issue is kind of annoying. Unfortunately, the
toggle for this exists only as an "On/Off" switch in the web configuration
panel. It's not really a device alarm notification, it's a web status
change configuration. So at this point your looking at On or Off as your
options.

Joseph,
I sent my wish request on this issue years back to no avail. There is no
variable threshold for the web sound as there is for the console. Nor are
there any tools in the .asp pages to give you that capability. Maybe in
rev 8 ?

Hi,
I use WUG 7.03 to monitor our network, and I have configured some
items with Alarms and other with none. The once without alarms I need
them just to be able to see their Status.
On the Monitoring Server, the Sound Alarm triggers ONLY according to
the settings I have done, and this is 100% ok. However from the Web
interface, the alarm sounds even on the items for which I haven t set
any alarms. Since we have a lot of items being monitored which are
constantly changing their status, from the Web Interface the alarms
keeps triggering regularly, and this becomes annoying, and
effectively reducing the use of it. Currently my only option is to
monitor only the once for which I want Alarms to be triggered,
however again this reduces a lot WUP use for my case.
Has one solved this issue?? It there a way to go round this
problem??
