The highlight on the machine name is to indicate that an event has occured on
that device.  Don't know if there's a way of clearing it automatically, but if
you have several highlighted machines on one map you can clear them all in one
hit by clicking on ACKNOWLEDGE in the MONITOR menu.

Under "Map Properties" (right click on map, then properties) there's a Poll
Frequency setting.  Default is 60 seconds.  If your server is up within 60
seconds of the next poll, it'll change the icon back to green.

Now, here's MY question to the list:
Once the server is back up, it shows a highlighted server name.  Icon is
green.  How the heck do I get rid of the highlighted name, other than
clicking on it?  I want it to go away automatically.

I'm on 7.00 Release 2001.10.31
