Their tech support did not have answers concerning the TAP protocol. Level 1 tech support did not know, but called level 2 tech support. I do not know how many levels there are, but at level two they told me they could not help me either and could not direct me any where else.. If we could get a thread of all the people that would like to use this service, maybe they would try a little harder to direct us in the right direction. > > Or, if several people around the country calls about the same thing, maybe the answer will be found. I believe tech support may be available by region. Therefore, tech support in different parts of the country may have the answer. I am about to set this up in the next few days. I think the bellsouth profile should work for Cingular, but I am not sure. > > Anthony Franklin, Network Engineer > University of West Florida > ITS > 850.474.3243 > > -----Original Message----- > From: Timothy Smith [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thu 2/13/2003 9:25 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: > Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Cingular > > > > Has anyone gotten Whatsup Gold to dial a Cingular system to send a message? > > Thanks, > Tim > > --- > Timothy Smith > Director, Administrative Technology > College of Humanities, The Ohio State University > 145 University Hall > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://his.osu.edu/service > > > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html > to be removed from this list. > > An Archive of this list is available at: > http://www.mail-archive.com/whatsup_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ > > > >W+벶 rꢻxˆٶ +˜ > + j y jo X*+ Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
