I have a DX system that is off by a remote system. What I am trying to do is monitor the DX system OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.4.3.1.0, so that is the value OFF turns into ON an alert will be sent. (on)-1 and (off)-2.
What my problem is that it will not get an up state during a poll. I made a custom SNMP under Monitor and Services. Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.4.3.1 even tried 1.3.6.1.4.1.476.1.42.3.4.3.1.0 Check it For: Constant Value Value: 2 even tried OFF. If values matches, the host is: Up Test fails: 2 So as you can see I am checking to make sure the DX system is OFF. Can't seem to get this one to work. The only thing about the device is it does have a different SNMP community then my other devices. Ideas?? I've dink around with about everything I can think of.
