OK, you're running WUG as a service:
When you state "I close the web interface" does that mean from your browser you go to the TOPVIEW then to the SETTINGS and unclick enable web server? That would stop the web server (although I don't know if that means now or after the next restart of WUG), but even with the web page disabled, polling should continue provided the maps are loaded.
When you state "I close the map" does that mean you go to the TOPVIEW and then click unload map and then select a map to unload? If you unload a map (any method), polling for devices stop.
If you're saying I close my browser and it stops polling, I'll got with Tv , never seen it happen.

- Now onto my current dilemma. As I stated in my previous posting, I am new to the usage of this software and may be missing some of the nuances. I currently have all my routers being monitored with no problems. I have just created my server maps and am in the initial stages of testing them. Well this is my issue, at this stage I simply have the servers set up to poll via icmp. Here is the strange thing that is happening and totally has me perplexed. If I have the map open in the WUG application or the map up in a browser, it polls fine. As soon as I close the web interface or the map in the WUG app on the server, the polls terminate. Has anyone else experienced this? My server maps appear to mirror my settings for polling of my router devices and yet my routers do not experience this problem.
