It is like I have always told everyone. I would rather talk to my hardware on-call then have to deal with a person. If I do my job and keep up my end of the bargain to my hardware then the other (human) part will never happen. Of course there will be a lot of rework to make it look and feel better. Yes I even have images.... the mdb is linked to Visio or should I say Visio is linked to the mdb. I wish I could make more of it dynamic. It is very much worth the effort. Oh!, did I mention you can click on a server and bingo, a detailed load doc right to the printer... You can't put WUG variables in a WUG field and have them be resolved. If you edit you wug asp file you can have it display a link such as... <a href="http://DBServer/QueryPage.asp?device=<%DEVICE% HOSTNAME>">Your External Database</a> You could edit the device= to be what ever you wanted to use as your id. It could be the IP or the device name. You will have to learn a little about the WUG asp tags.
