This may be a stupid question, but can you also tell me how to link a notification to the service?

Thanx,

Veerle

Hi Georges!

In the Configure/Monitor & Service Properties you can define a new Service with Servicetype SNMP-Monitoring. You have to specify the OID you want to monitor and the values.

Ie., if the temperature of our Coreswitches goes above 35 degrees celsius the service will go down. You can also link a Notification to such a Service.

Hi,

I can already define a notification when my server goes down, but I would like to link a notification with snmp information.

Is this possible, for example, to send a notification when the free space of the hard disk on my server goes below 20%?  If so, how do I do that?

Thanx,

Veerle
