Hi,   I had the same problem this morning     First you must define the notification you want in the notification library (Configure>Notification library) Then open the properties box of the device you're interested in. Click on services and check the service you want to monitor Then in Alerts , click on enable alerts and then Add, choose the notifications you created. You have to specify the OID you want to monitor and the values. Ie., if the temperature of our Coreswitches goes above 35 degrees celsius the service will go down.
