Hi,
I had
the same problem this morning
First
you must define the notification you want in the notification library
(Configure>Notification library)
Then
open the properties box of the device you're interested
in.
Click
on services and check the service you want to monitor
Then
in Alerts , click on enable alerts and then Add, choose the notifications you
created.
When
the service will go down, whatsup will consider the node down (the node will be
in purple for a service down)and launch the alerts you
define.
Hops
this help
