My guess is that you are using WhatsUp Gold v8.01. If so, then all traps show in the SNMP Log but only those that fire an Event will show in the Activity Log, and thus in your QuickStatus log.
Configure an Event on the approriate device(s) on the map. Perhaps start with "Any" just so that you can check that things are working OK. When you are happy that this is working you can fine tune and replace the Event "Any" with something a bit more specific.
