I'd love to do something similar.  I'd like to have missed poll and service down alerts use one notification and event log alerts use another notification.  The notification variable set for event log alerts is useless for regular alerts and vice versa.  I don't think either of our scenarios is possible without creating separate monitors.  For example, I have one icon for server1 that includes network up/down.  I have another icon for server1 that monitors the event log, but does not monitor network up/down (uncheck monitor this device).

Wish:  Make notifications a property of the monitored service, not the device itself.  An option for using the same notification for all monitors on the same device would be useful with this feature.  Ipswitch, you listening?  J

I have most of my devices set to monitor several services. Is there a way to assign a different alert trigger to each service on the same device?
