only checks port availability. A 404 error would show as up. HTTPS
content scan is what we are all clamoring for.

HTTPS is a standard TCP service running on port 443 -
you shouldn't need a separate plugin to monitor it. Just create a
custom TCP/IP service and set the port to 443. It should work
fine.

Plugin for HTTPS |

I know many have asked and I've tried creating a VB plug-in that
would permit HTTPS monitoring without much luck. A while back an
individual was able to create a VB plug-in (the first in history) and
provided the source code. I didn't have much luck with it either as I
wasn't even able to get the compiled version installed correctly on a couple
of systems to reverse engineer and tweak. Mostly due to available
time.
Does anyone know of a 3rd party plug-in (somewhat highly
configurable) or otherwise that would monitor HTTPS sites? Would
someone with knowledge be willing to create one as a project for a
fee?
