I installed that but have yet to find the plug-in that will let you post.

RSS is new to me...

Jeff -- I've been thru this issue many times and have settled on outlook
add-ins. If you use Microsoft Outlook, these have the functions you
want. IntraVNews is "free" for personal use, but their latest version
seems to lock you out if you use a Microsoft Exchange server. The other
add-in is Newsgator and costs $29 if my memory hasn't failed me. I
really liked intravnews, but I quit using them when they "automatically"
changed me from personal to business use. Newsgator is used by many
people who live in outlook. Give these two a look -- Newsgator has a 14
day trial.

An RSS feed DOES NOT provide the functionality that a mailing list does.
I have been testing Feedreader and it does OK. You can't reply to a
message, you can't forward, you can't save the message in a different
folder, and you can't delete a message you have read. So all of the
messages just sit there. Also a very big thing to me is that I can't
read it while at lunch like I do with all of my other mailing lists and
forums. I sync my lists and groups that each has their own email folder
to my handheld. I can flip though them while I eat lunch or when ever I
have a few minutes like waiting for a meeting to start. I can even
write my replies. Now I have to be on-line to read and on-line to
reply. If I'm at my desk I have a lot of other things I should be
doing.

Because of the new forum I have spent an extra 2 hours at work this week
reading and dealing with this group. So my big question is why a forum?
It has not saved me any time only making it harder and more work to keep
up to date.

This sounds great...The RSS feeds should take care of us who will miss
the
features of a mailing list.
