Yes, we create double devices, but we also right click to attach one device
to another - to display the two same devices connected by a line, so that we
won't lose track of them.

That's was just what I thought. Not wery goog looking and maybe a bit more
harder to administrate when getting doubble of many devices. How has the
rest of you solved this practical? Are the "extra" devices on their own map?

The way to do this in v8.0x is to create a coy of the device on your map.
On one copy you just monitor the device itself and configure the alert that
goes to everyone. On the other copy you monitor the service and configure
the alert that only goes to a few people.

Hi!

Is this possible?

Scenario:
I have my WUG to monitor up/down-state on a server. WUG is also monitoring
some services. And when the server goes down or a service fails an alert is
sent.

My wish:
To separate the service alerts so they are sent to another destination. So
that when the server goes down, everyone is alerted. But when a monitored
service fails only a few are alerted.

I know how to setup filter out events and choose where the alert will be
sent. But when it comes to "monitor and services" all alarms are sent
together.

Can it be done? Hope you understand.
