Most of my maps are physical layouts of racks or desks, so multiple icons don't realy 
work for me.  I currently have one map with all the special alerts on it.  It works 
for me because the amount is small.  I would create more maps if I needed, and group 
then by who needed to see them.  

If I had servers with lots of these I may create one map per server.  That way I could 
do denpendencies.
