Dan,

I'm interested in doing the same and will be looking for the MIBS for HP and Dell in
the near future. If I get something working I'll pass on the info.

BTW do you have any relatives in New Jersey?

Cheers,

Jim

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Compaq Insight Manager

Has anyone integrated Compaq Insight Manager (CIM) into WUG 8.x?

I am interested in monitoring for things like power supply, disk failures, overtemps,
etc with WUG without actually loading CIM on the monitoring workstation. I understand
that I would have to load the CIM SNMP agent on the compaq boxes themselves.

I am also interested in doing this with Dell Servers running their SNMP agent.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Betreff: [WhatsUp Forum] SMTP Alerts using alternate port number

Has anyone configured What's Up Gold to send SMTP alerts to an alternate port? I need
to send external e-mail using port 6000. We have a spam blocker that uses port 25 and
will not allow my alerts to use the same port.
I've sent a tech support e-mail as well but I thought I would try here as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
