Title: Message

I think you replied to the wrong thread, but I believe you are referring to the false UP notifications. Even if the UP value is changed to 2,5,20 or any number of minutes, the main problem is that there should be no UP message at all. Even if it comes after 5 min, it’s still incorrect.

The issue is that WUP seems to have a logic problem. Instead of the UP alert being dependant on the DOWN alert, it is dependant on the DOWN status. This needs to be corrected in order for this to work properly. It seems to be an oversight.

why not just change the default 'Up" to be a "UP for 5 minutes" or a number that fits your needs

From what I have read on the list it will only prompt for the upgrade if WUG is installed on the default location of the C: drive. If you changed it like most Network people who do not run your apps on the C: drive then it does not work.

I had a similar issue. I had to recreate the context for my maps in order to get them to upgrade correctly.

I keep reading all these messages relating to upgrading from WUG, and they all state that the option to "upgrade" is available during the installation, however; after several attempts of installing WUP and trying different preferences and subsequently uninstalling it, I have yet to see any option that allows me to upgrade. It installs separately every time without an upgrade being done. Have I downloaded the wrong copy or something?
