Jeff,
Succintly stated.  I share your opinion.  WUP took steps both forward 
and backward.  I will follow the patches and upgrades to see if there 
is a point where I am willing to put the effort into taking the WUP web 
page and modifying it to provide the look, feel and funtionality of 
what I had with WUG.  Until that time, WUP will remain in my testbed 
and WUG will be my tool that I depend upon.
