Hi,
that's the right way - don't forget to set snmp trap destinations.
On the WUG side import the right mib (see mibextra ...).
Compaq/Hp agents do this hardware monitoring by default - if activated.
Cheers,
Juergen

Hi,
I want to proactively monitor Physical Drive Failure Status in all my
Compaq servers and A notification should be generated from WUG if there is
any Phy.Drive failures in servers.
I am planning to add event from "Event Library->SNMP Trap->
cpqCrPhyDiskFailureTrap" to all compaq servers.
Will this notify me if there is any failure / status change in the Physical
disk drives?
I found the following entry in One of my compaq server's System Event log.
But, I can not see all server's Event logs all the time. So, I want this to
be notified by WUG.
Could some one help me out from this problem? Pls revert back if any other
details are required
Thanks,
Kumar.
