By reading your message, I'm under the impression that trunk will
suddenly collapse and disappear! Why do you have that feeling?
The code will remain as-is, you will still be able to work on your
projects, don't worry.
I (and Johan) agree with James though. If you're on a project that
uses 2.0 and we decide to discontinue it, you want to upgrade asap to
a version that will be maintained in the future. And of course, we
should want that too, as the sooner users migrate, the sooner we can
actually close that branch.
