Just wondering if there are any ways of specifying 'friendly' URLs other than new Servlet definitions?
Background: 'Friendly' in this case can be taken to read 'short', by the way! I'm going to be working in a a demo web-app that might well (a) include some WML pages to be returned to the user and (b) may have URL's to be called from a phone, where the excess space for "/Demo?bookmarkablePage=mywebapp.demo.MainPage" over "/d2" really makes a difference! They've traditionally been done via Model 1 JSPs, but I'm quite keen to try to see how I get on with Wicket (and failing that, Barracuda, and failing that Niggle/FreeMarker) rather than JSPs! However, if time pressures become tight, then I might have to go straight to Niggle as I know that, at least!
