I´m pointing to what J. carlson said:
"This is exactly why I prefer tools that use the very simple modified BSD, MIT, or X11 which is compatible with both Apache and GPL."

I mean, if Wicket (core,extension) uses a license compatible with GPL and also with more commercial friendly licenses, everybody gets happy. :)
