Wicket provide very good page inheritance, and it's perfect for page layout.
However, as far as I know, to apply layout to static, logicless page, we still need
to create a blank page class:
public class MyStaticPage extends MyBaseLayoutPage {
//does nothing....
}
<body>
<wicket:extend>
MyStaticPage content...
</wicket:extend>
</body>
Is it possible we can skip such blank class ? how about configure specific directory and
automatically apply Parent page ?
in WebAppliction:
autoExtend( somePackage, MyBaseLayoutPage.class );
or just write parent class in template:
<body>
<wicket:extend parent="com.example.MyBaseLayoutPage">
MyStaticPage content...
</wicket:extend>
</body>
