i 2nd danny's statement. the admin site default setting DID work briefly (i managed to change the default from smoke to slate on eq2), but it wont work anymore. i even tried changing the autocreated MediaWiki:AdminSkin page, and even deleting that page changed nothing.
as it stands, my person skin setting is completely ignored (and uses the site's default) unless it is monobook.
