However, it should be re-iterated that disabling all of them (with no replacement) can lose information. To add another example, we're close to merging https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/158632/ (adds icons, including buttoned icons, fixes bug 55535). There is no native browser control for buttons with both icons and text (AFAIK) (or various other things that will be coming).
