Bawolff <bawolff...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |bawolff...@gmail.com --- Comment #14 from Bawolff <bawolff...@gmail.com> 2011-05-17 04:51:39 UTC --- (In reply to comment #13) > I see that Wikipedia now has lang and xml:lang attributes on these links. The > latter does seem pointless, since the root HTML element only has the former. Are you looking at a different Wikipedia then I am? We're talking about interlanguage links in the sidebar right? I can't seem to see it. (also I grepped for xml:lang in trunk, its not used in the html output anywhere as far as I can tell. I could see the lang attribute potentially useful to screen readers needing to switch rules when pronouncing (It'd be nice if someone with an actual screen reader could confirm that), but hreflang seems really useless, unless someone can actually name an actual existing application that does something with it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
