Hi Leigh and Peter,

Let's create lemon out of lemonade - and use the collaborative power of the
wiki to effect some perceptual change. (It's also in line with some of the
community-building / messaging activities).

I think it all depends on "how" we use WikiEd to bring people in, and
collaborate with them - which will create immediacy, relevance and
demonstrate the value of WikiEd. Of course, there will always be other
alternatives - but I'd like to create an 'experience' that we can refer to,
and use in 'recruiting' teacher participation, and bringing them onboard. In
the future, this could become a case study....

I have some other thoughts, but first - would you be open to doing this....

This is what I propose:

* a collaborative mini-project (1 hour of time)to identify the benefits and
utility of WikiEducator over other alternatives (and the challenges - from a
teacher's point of view). We could collaborate on a single page, and create
the experience of 'collaboration' on the wiki that we all know so well.

* Participants: Leigh, Peter, Randy & a teacher or two.

* Requirements: - find a teacher(s) who wishes to work with us on this
mini-project (secondary, tertiary levels)

Can you identify a teacher - who might wish to participate?

- Randy
