Hi Randy

I've just had a look at iWeb06 (i have a MacBook) and I'm not sure it would
be worthwhile (if I'm understanding correctly) to first iWeb it then mod to
WE. iWeb puts in an awful lot of inline styles which don't seem to parse
well through some of the tools I have (mostly web-based eg HTML Tidy
http://infohound.net/tidy/ or html2wiki
http://diberri.dyndns.org/wikipedia/html2wiki/index.html).

I only had one file to work off and that was a photo gallery I did just
after I got the mac a few years ago (and the only one I did). It may work
better with other kinds of sites, but I'm not hopeful. I'll have a think
about what other apps (preferably FOSS) are available on the mac that would
better lend themselves to the process.

*smack forehead* D'oh! Perfect solution. eXe is much simpler, more suitable
for developing learning resources and it does go through the two sites and,
even better, straight into the html2wiki generator. I haven't yet tried
putting eXe format straight into WE, but I'm lead to believe it works. I do
know it works on the Mac quite well. I'm pretty sure you could use it for
other page development as well, but so far, I haven't.

If necessary, give your colleague my email and I can work directly with her
and find out what resources she already has and how best to progress this.
I'll also try to find time to develop a 'how-to' for this kind of
development from the mac.
