Sure --- there's no problem giving sysops to all Council members. When folk accept sysops -- there are a bunch of responsibilities, eg getting requests for page deletes etc. Some members may not want this additional workload / responsibility.
Why not put this up as an agenda item -- perhaps for a future meeting if we don't get enough time during the first session. I think it would also be good if the Community developed a few guidelines on Sysops for helping decide how these should be allocated in the community.
