hey Ben, Maria, Glady's Jim --

Looks like we have the nexus of a great team --- I'm pretty sure Rob
and Alison will be joining us as well :-).

I've created a sub-page -- no text yet :-( where I'll copy over the
relevant bits from the Hewlett bid. It's a little conceptual -- but
basically says that if we embed the educational elements (pedagogical
templates or iDevices) of a teaching resource as identifiable elements
--- it will be easier for educators to repurpose OER for different
contexts. There is also a use case scenario which starts exploring
offline and online alternatives for OER and creating the ability to
authore WE content using your local word processor. Give me a few
hours and I'll get a copy posted on the Wiki.

The implication is that we will need to think about a range of
pedagogical templates for different purposes --- so this is a timely
group and privilege to have this calibre of experience on board!

Cheers
W
