Hi Phil, I've just run a test on the user-name link in the different language installs of WE using my account.
We've set up the WikiEducator site using the same user database for all language installs -- which means you can use the same username and login for different language localisations of WE. In short -- you do not need to create a new account for each different language install. (That said -- you've already figured this out having worked in different language localisations of WE :-) ) However, as you will have seen the userpage link on the top of the screen should take your userpage for that language. In other words -- users need to generate the text for their user page in each language, rather than linking back to the original userpage in, for instance the English WE. Given the all your translations of your user page in the different languages --- you've already figured this one out :-) I tested my userpage link at the top of the page in different languages and was not able to replicate the problem you're experiencing -- so I suspect that this may be a local issue with caching, or local software on your desktop.
