Hi Everyone, I've been using Google Docs to "download" MS Word documents straight into Open Office. (There's a conversion feature that downloads docs into pdf, html, text and word.
If there was an option to do it directly from Google Docs into Mediawiki syntax, that would be great. *Does anyone have ideas about how to go about this - pitching to Google that it's in their interest to do enable this functionality?* It would save lots of time.... BTW: I've noticed you tend to need a fair bit of RAM to convert larger documents from Open Office directly into mediawiki syntax, and if Google could do it for us, so much the better. PS. I've documented the uploading process - http://www.wikieducator.org/Community_Media/Uploading_Content - Randy -- ________________ Randy Fisher MA, OMD * Change Management, Learning & Performance * Stakeholder Engagement, Virtual Collaboration & Communities of Practice * Organization Design & Development * Coaching & Facilitation * E-Learning + 1 604.684.2275 (Pacific Time) [email protected] http://www.wikieducator.org - Member, WikiEducator Community Council http://www.wikieducator.org/User:Randyfisher Skype: wikirandy "Open Education is a Sustainable & Renewable Resource. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "WikiEducator" group.
