The OpenOffice.org document converter is a bit of cleverness being tried by Catalyst's Piers Harding http://WikiEducator.org/User:PiersHarding It allows converting file formats understood by OpenOffice (including OpenOffice (duh :-) and some Microsoft Office files into wikitext format and leaves a copy in your user area. From there you can cut and paste the interesting parts into pages you are working on in the wiki. Think of it as a way of kickstarting your creation of wiki pages from an existing document. Thanks to the NZ Ministry of Education for funding this trial, and Piers for the cleverness behind the implementation. And its not related to the skin. It should appear in your Toolbox with the default Monobook skin as well. Jim -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "WikiEducator" group.
