Hi Everyone, WikiEducator has enjoyed the privilege of positive growth since our inception. Fortunately our growth has been incremental giving us the space to refine our operations and procedures.
With the advent of our first public giving campaign (still very much work in progress see: http://wikieducator.org/OERF:Donate) we may need to consider how we will manage exponential growth. The OER Foundation administers the world's largest attempt to build wiki skills in the formal education sector. In the event that the demand for our free training through WikiEducator's Learning4Content project increases beyond our current capacity to deliver, we must prepare in advance and be ready to scale-up the number of Learning4Content facilitators. Moreover, I think its fair and reasonable provide opportunities for our sterling team of L4C facilitators to take regenerate their batteries :-). WikiEducator is indebted to the tireless dedication of our facilitation team and I feel guilty placing unrealistic demands on our team of facilitators -- way beyond the call of duty. Kudos to all our L4C facilitators! (For the record -- none of our L4C facilitators have complained about serving the WE community :-D). I'm extending an open invitation to experienced Wikieducators and online Facilitators who would like to participate in facilitating future workshops. I'm planning to facilitate another international workshops, and would like to invite prospective L4C co-facilitators to join me in this workshop to learn how we do things. In this way we can widen and extend our cadre of Learning4COntent facilitators for WIkiEducator.
