Hi Everyone,

BIG thank you for the positive response from all our WIkiEducators who are
keen to become online facilitators for our Learning4Content training
programme. I'll be sending a personal email to all prospective facilitators
with more detail in the near future.

With the launch of our first public giving campaign and prospective
organisations joining the OER Foundation as contributing members, I expect
that the demand for L4C workshops will increase in the near future and I am
very pleased that we will have a growing team of capable facilitators
available to respond to any increased demand for training.

I'm planning to facilitate the July 2010 Learning4Content workshop and I
will invite our new group of facilitators to join us as co-facilitators.
This will provide an opportunity for the new facilitators to see how we set
up and manage the workshops.

In addition, the introduction of rich text editing in WikiEducator requires
a few minor tweaks to the workshop format we have been using to date for our
international workshops. We will trial a revised workshop schedule and
workshop layout to accommodate the refinements for rich text editing basing
this on experiments I've been using for recent OERNZ workshops (
http://wikieducator.org/OERNZ/training/OERNZ4/Home ).

It would be great if our existing team of facilitators could join us and
assist with the refinements and feedback to improve our training
interventions.

It's amazing to see how L4C is growing and the number of educators around
the world who want to share open content the wiki way!

Cheers
Wayne
