I agree with Wayne's and Jan's comments, Jane. I was thinking along the
same lines as it make a lot of sense.

I haven't really been following these discussions as I am still
convalescing from major surgery, so I'm not sure if this has already
been brought up, but it would be great if a Culinary Education Project
were an integral part of teaching and learning about nutrition and how
it affects our health, both positively and negatively, as well as how
food production and the environment interact with each other.

Hi Jane,

I also think its worth thinking about ways in which OERs like this can
be integrated into formal teaching, for example the different schools of
Catering and hospitality in the New Zealand Polytechnic sector.

As Otago Polytechnic has a default Creative Commons Attribution
licensing policy and strong commitment to OER -- I think this is worth
exploring as well.
