Hi Savithri, I'm not particularly adept technically, but thought I chime in with some thoughts in any case.
1. When we use the <ref> </ref> syntax it works on a normal page i.e. > on clicking the ref it connects to the references at the end of page BUT > when we use templates on the page, it doesn't. See > http://wikieducator.org/Introduction_to_Cost_Concepts > I tried putting the reference header and the <references/> tag that was at the very end of the Intro to Cost Concepts page to before the PrevNext template and the one reference now lists in the Reference section. I'm not sure why this fixes the problem on that particular page. Hopefully this fix will work on other pages. > > 2. Am not able to access messages since the last week or so. > Do you mean the messages on talk pages that can be accessed from a button on your Watchlist page? If yes, this is also the case for me. Mine stopped working awhile back. I believe it's related to a bug in "LiquidThreads", which is the extension that handles WE messages on the talk page. The workaround is to have these messages sent to you as email. Go to "my preferences" at the top of any page, click the "Gadgets" tab, and check "LQTemail" under "interface-gadgets". This is working for me. > > 3. Sadly, I don't have any ideas for how to create the edit links, other than to put in a header. It does seem like a feature which could be added to the template; I'm just not technical enough to know how. Hopefully someone will offer an idea on this. The work in economics, the page you reference and quite a number more, is really wonderful. I look forward to seeing how it all ties together. Good luck.
