[Wiki Loves Monuments] WLM landingpage template use

There's not much in the way of documentation for the new template, so I 
was wondering: is it possible to put external links under the link= 
parameters of various templates? So if we wanted to make the page 
simple, without a bunch of subpages for every action, the upload button 
would link directly to 
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UploadWizard&campaign=wlm-XX> 
and not the /Upload subpage, for example. Or the side box for where to 
find monuments, which could link to an external monument browser.
