Might be worth asking some schools and teachers: "Look, would this be useful for you?" The impetus for the SOS Children selection was to make an encyclopedia for them to use in their own schools in third-world countries, i.e. they had a specific use in mind. The choice of the English National Curriculum was just as a handy standard to work to.
